Sam's Club Gas Prices Now

Most Sam's Club fuel centers post those three grades. Availability is not identical everywhere — some clubs skip a grade. A handful of locations also run a car wash. The tiles above are national averages of the clubs that actually post each grade.

The fuel meets federal EPA standards. It is not TOP TIER certified. Costco's Kirkland gasoline is; Sam's Club's is not. For most vehicles that is not a problem. If your owner's manual specifically calls for TOP TIER detergent gasoline, pick a certified brand instead.

Warehouse clubs buy and sell a lot of fuel. They do not need the convenience markup of a highway-exit station, and membership keeps the pumps busy. How much you save depends on the market around that club. The chart above is the mean posted price across reporting clubs, rebuilt once a day — always confirm the sign when you arrive.

At the vast majority of Sam's Club fuel centers, you need an active membership. Scan your physical card or the barcode in the Sam's Club app before the pump will start. Both the standard Club membership and Plus get the member pump price. After a May 2026 increase, Club is $60 a year and Plus is $120. Fees change, so confirm on samsclub.com before you join.

A small number of stations sell to anyone. Those are typically co-located with a Walmart, or required by local law to be open to the public. At those pumps, members and Walmart+ members often get about 5¢ off a gallon. New Jersey does not allow membership-based fuel discounts, so that extra cut does not apply there. Plus members who carry the Sam's Club Mastercard also earn Sam's Cash back on gas bought at other stations — a card benefit, not a different price at the club pump.

Sam's Club's published standard for fuel centers is 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Many locations follow that every day of the week. The pumps often open earlier and close later than the warehouse, which is the simplest way to skip the midday line.
